Shannon was incredible! My third son was born in November 2021 while my husband was deployed overseas. He also came 13 days after his due date -- I was only one day away from risking out of our planned water birth at the birth center and being sent to an OB to be induced. To say the circumstances surrounding his birth were stressful is an understatement! Shannon not only met, but far exceeded my expectations as my primary birth support system in my husband's absence. As my due date approached, then passed, then became ancient history, Shannon was right there offering all the support and advice in a calm but confident manner. When we were quickly approaching my risk out date, Shannon helped me weigh all the options and decide what was best for us. And when I went into labor at around 10 PM, Shannon was there the whole night supporting me and comforting me as I brought this beautiful babe into the world exactly as we had hoped - with our water birth at the birth center and no induction or meds! Not only was she there to support me, but she helped support my two older sons who were present for the birth and she supported my husband while he was thousands of miles away and she made sure he could be on video chat to witness the birth of his third son. I would hire Shannon again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend her to everyone!
