After realizing at 36 weeks pregnant that I probably wouldn't have the birth experience I'd been hoping for due to my provider, I knew I needed a doula. I talked with 6 different doulas and felt like Danielle would be the best fit. I knew she would be supportive of my birthing goals and push me to reach the unmedicated birth I desired. She helped me find a wonderful new provider and eased my worries. Looking back, I cannot imagine doing it without her. She knew exactly what I needed every step of the way. She helped me cope with back labor, made me do positions to keep my labor progressing and she continually reminded me of my strength and capability to get through it. She advocated for me, supported me, and kept me going. I'm still in awe at the birth experience I was able to have, and I truly owe so much of it to Danielle!
