Her support leading up to my daughter's birth helped me feel informed about options I had, and confident that I had lots of strategies to help me in my goal of laboring unmedicated. I also felt assured that I would have all the support I needed if I changed my mind, or ended up needing medicated pain relief. Austin was such an incredible support through my very extended early labor at home and quick progression once we reached the hospital. She helped me maintain focus and ensured I understood what was happening during labor and was a great support to my husband as well.
