Rachel was a wonderful support through pregnancy and our very quick unplanned home birth. I knew going into this I would have some anxiety through the process due to it being a major life change, and she really came through when I needed her. I ended up getting diagnosed with GDM and there was a looming possibility that we would have to have a hospital birth. Rachel assured us no matter what, we would have a beautiful birth even if it wasn't our plan.
Well, it ended up not going to plan anyway but in a different sense! We were planning to delivery at River City Midwifery but our little one decided to come on her own time while we were still at home. Everything still went smoothly and Rachel was there to catch our baby! I can't stress enough how wonderful a support she was throughout our pregnancy. If I have another kid, I will absolutely hire her again. I especially recommend her to any LGBTQ+ clients looking for queer support. She's amazing!
