Shannon is simply awesome. We met by chance during my first delivery when my doula could not make it. Talk about a serendipitous occasion!! Even though we met that day, I instantly felt comfortable with her. Shannon worked through an incredibly difficult labor for our daughter. She respected our wishes to attempt a natural birth and when things didn't exactly go as planned, she helped to guide us through next steps. Shannon has excellent experience with the hospital we gave birth in and had worked with our midwife and some of the nurses before!
Shannon was the first person I called when we got pregnant with our second baby. She stayed in touch during my pregnancy and was there every step of the way during delivery. Her style is relaxed and supportive. She talked me though every contraction and encouraged me when it got tough. We are done having children, but I would hire her again and again if we chose to have more!
