Martha spent time with us after my son was born at the end of November. He was born 3 weeks early, so we started with Martha a few weeks delayed due to her availability- but she did make some time for us to get in a few day sessions after he was born. We ended up hiring someone else those initial few weeks, and the difference between that person and Martha was astonishing. Once Martha walked in we knew that we were being taken care of. I felt such at ease with her watching our son at night, and also how she looked after me. She would give me some of her tea during my nightly breastfeeding and it was so comforting during my exhaustion and in the cold winter.
