Heather is an amazing doula, but she is an even better human being. Before our first visit with her was complete, we felt like we reconnected with an old friend. Although she excels in so many areas required of a 'wing-woman' during labor and delivery, perhaps her most assuring and remarkable quality is her selflessness. She supported us with our first home birth (child #5) and was instrumental at both accompanying my wife through her contractions while keeping me informed of the intricacies of having a baby outside of the hospital. In the end, it was our favorite birth yet, and we can thank Heather for a large part of that. Although we don't plan to have another child (said that twice already!), we feel like and hope to remain friends with Heather forever; she has become like family to us.
