Heather was an amazing Doula for my husband and myself. When my labor was progressing faster than I expected she got to our house very quickly in the middle of the night and immediately started offering support for both of us. When we arrived at the hospital I was already very much in active labor and focused on the contractions. I knew that Heather was there for me, through her calm presence, physical touch and the way she supported my husband. When it came time to push she was right by my side, and also was able to take some amazing videos and photos that are so special to us now. She kept reminding me to breathe down into my belly, and always had water for me when I needed it. After the birth she stayed until we felt comfortable being around, helping me with my first latch and also bringing my placenta back to my home.
I absolutely recommend Heather as a Doula for you. She is kind, supportive, very calm, and all around helps everyone feel at ease. My husband and I are so happy she was us, she provided the perfect balance of space and support.
