Barbie was an amazing person to have by my side while preparing for and during birth. It was clear that she was quite experienced and knowledgeable about what to expect and how to make the process as special as possible. Prior to labor, she was available, responsive, organized and responsible. She stayed in touch and provided written resources and educational materials. Barbie met with us on Zoom and in person and made us feel comfortable and prepared for what was to come.
During birth, Barbie was calming, confident, and in addition to providing me emotional support and guidance on breathwork/mental work, she also provided hands-on pain management relief with tools and counter pressure. She helped me consider the options my OBGYN provided and helped me to feel empowered and postitive about the choices I made. Thanks to Barbie I was able to have the kind of birth I wanted and felt fully supported throughout the process.
