My husband and I were paired with Haylee days before our baby's birth by our midwives at Boise River Birth Center. We didn't originally think we needed a doula since we had a team of midwives but when my baby started showing us that he might have a hard time descending efficiently and cause me back labor in the process, we gladly took their recommendation to let Haylee help us. My husband especially felt relief from her presence when she showed up at 3 AM to assist us. He didn't know what he was doing and felt supported by her to in turn support me during a fast and furious active labor. I had back labor the majority of the time and Haylee helped me stay focused and relaxed through the entire process. We can't stop telling people how instrumental she was in getting through our first labor experience. Haylee truly cares for every family that she comes across and is so talented at making everyone, but especially the mama, feel heard and supported. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
