I found out I was pregnant and knowing all my friends and family lived in another state in addition to being high risk, I knew I needed extra support during pregnancy and during labor. I contacted Kim early on and immediately was drawn to her calm presence. She soothed every bit of anxiety I had just by being with me and talking with me during our first meeting, prenatal visits, and during labor. She helped my husband in showing him the best ways to support me, she helped my husband and myself advocate for me and made my labor such a lovely memory.
