This was my first pregnancy and I had a ton of questions. I never felt judged when asking her anything. She made me feel less anxious about my birth and helped to walk me through a birth plan.
Labor was not at all what I expected or planned for. Having Imani there helped me to feel safe and heard. She was definitely the advocate I needed! She absolutely knows what she is doing and is confident in her abilities. My baby was turned the wrong way during labor and when the hospital staff was talking C-Section Imani had something up her sleeve. She used a technique to get baby to turn and move down and baby came naturally and came out facing the right way!
Having a doula is something I feel every woman should consider. If I ever have another baby I would hire Imani as my doula without a second thought!
