My sister in-law gifted us doula services from Divine Peace Doulas LLC and it was the best gift that we could have asked for. Kali supported my brother and sister in law through their birth of my nephew so I heard nothing but good things about her from them. This was our first baby after 2 losses. I was filled with so much fear and anxiety due to my history and the information that I had researched didn't help either. I found it so difficult to just be happy during this pregnancy at the beginning of my pregnancy, so many decisions needed to be made without any knowledge.
We met Kali when I was 15 weeks pregnant, she was a saving grace to us, working with her was such a smooth transition, she is very knowledgeable, intelligent, graceful but also firm. She was armed with unlimited evidence-based information about everything that we asked, and the experiences that she has witnessed or encountered it's like she is a walking problem solver for pregnant moms and their families. Her childbirth education class was so efficient that it truly prepared us for the birth, labor and postpartum that we wanted. She helped build my confidence and that of my husband who was my partner during the whole process. We went into our birth space feeling empowered, we had an empowering birth and postpartum experience.
We are so happy that Kali was our doula, she held my hand, wiped my tears, massaged my back, danced with us, walked with us, fed me, kept me hydrated, and made sure that my husband was ok when he was tired. I can't list all of the things that she did for us. I promise you that Kali is a pro at her job and anyone that is looking for a doula would benefit tremendously with Kali on their care team. She believes in you, your partner and your one of a kind birth experience. I have referred Kali to my cousin and my bestfriend. Kali we can't thank you enough for all of your love and support!
