We decided to go for doula services much later during my pregnancy and found about Marie as a close match to our needs. She was definitely very professional to interact with us over a video call, explain us the scope of work and things she can assist us with.
A well drafted and detailed proposal/agreement followed after this conversation and we worked our schedule seamlessly.
Marie then visited our place some days before delivery just to familiarize herself with the building and the apprartment. This was really a good thing to to.
My delivery was delayed by 4 days and we knew that Marie had already mentioned about a couple of days she's not available to come. But once she was back and started visiting us, we were so much relieved. As a new mother, I has so many questions, which she patiently answered. Her pesence was calming to me. She took care of me, cared a lot for the baby and had conversations that allowed me and my husband to feel confident about handling the baby.
She was very quick with the household chores that we asked her to do. She taught me baby massage using dolls and supervised while I massaged the baby. This was such a nice gesture. We've already referred her to several expecting mothers and would continue to do so.
As a new mother, without family being present around, Marie's presence was really comforting. She is punctual and communicates in advance for any schedule changes. We easily worked out all the schuedules and things were great.
