I was extremely satisfied with my natural labor and recovery, all thanks to Christi. I attempted a natural labor with my first baby which failed to progress and ended with an epidural, so I decided to find a doula for my second labor to ensure I had the support I needed - someone I knew would be there for me every step of the way. Christi was just that - a true God-send for me, and my husband, who was happy to get some relief. Christi literally supported me by applying pressure and warm rags through each of my contractions. She encouraged me to change positions when she could tell I needed it and cheered me on as I pushed. I went from a 32 hour labor with my first, to a 9 hour labor with my second, which seemed like a breeze!
