Meri is an exceptional doula and truly loves her profession! She was the first doula to support my preemie twins when they came home from the hospital and continued to support our family for several months of our post partum journey. She is kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and a fantastic cook! I highly recommend her deviled eggs, chicken noodle soup, or shepherds pie! Such great comfort foods while cozying up at home.
Meri is a natural at caring for both mother and babies and my fourth trimester would not have been as smooth without her. She helped with lactation/pumping tips, problem solving my babies tummy issues, and was very responsive when I had questions for her via text. She was incredibly loving and nurturing to my daughters, and was always ahead of their feeds at night. This was particularly important because I have a small home and it meant that I could sleep because they rarely cried because she was ahead of their needs. Additionally, Meri has a friendly and upbeat personality and brought a breath of fresh air into our home. I always looked forward to chatting with her about the babies and other topics.
The best doulas out there have the attitude that they want to work themselves out of a job by giving you the skills and confidence you need to continue on your own - and that is exactly what she did. Meri got our family up and running with her care and I was sad to ‘graduate’ from her night and day support! I highly recommend her to any family and have also told her that I'm happy to speak with any family if they would like to learn more about her.
