Joli was amazing! I don't think my husband and I would have come out of this experience feeling positive if it wasn't for her. We had a long labor, and she helped us tackle each obstacle that came our way. We did everything to keep it low intervention, but with each obstacle we had to make a new decision and eventually a C-section. If it wasn't for Joli, I don't think I would have felt heard or like the decisions made along the way were my choice. That was the most important part to me, especially since I do not have a strong voice with doctors and my husband who is an R.N is almost too aware of things. What I love the most is Joli acted ethically and responsibly when she felt she could no longer help us. She had another client with a long labor before us, and she stuck out as long as she could before calling for back up (Stephanie). Her stand in was also amazing, they both helped what could have easily been a scary experience turn into feeling safe, listened to, and loved. I know when and if we try for a second child, I'm calling Joli again! And if she is not available then I trust her partners, or future recommendations.
