Doula Noleen gave my husband and I lovely birth photos to commemorate my short and unpredictable birth experience (attempted home birth and ended up transferring to the hospital).
She was a soft and strong presence that provided much comfort during labor. One of my favorite moments during labor was when she tenderly swept my hair back into a messy bun without me prompting her. My hair was definitely bothering me as it was in my face and hot on my neck, but I was too distracted by labor to do anything about it. She was intuitive enough to provide me with that small comfort.
