We would 100% recommend Justine and her amazing doula team. I had a lot of anxiety about pregnancy and childbirth, and hiring Justine as our doula was the single best decision I made for my mental health during my entire pregnancy. Many people assume that a doula is only helpful during the birth itself, but knowing that I was supported during my entire pregnancy was just as beneficial as having Justine there for the birth of our beautiful son. His birth was fast and furious (and in the middle of the night!), and Justine was there to support us over the phone while my labor picked up and we rushed to the hospital. When she met us there, she was instrumental in advocating for us, guiding me in pushing, supporting my husband as he supported me, and keeping us all calm and focused. Justine has attended over 500 births in the Twin Cities, so she personally knows a plethora of practitioners (including both my midwife team and the OB they called in to consult during labor) and is an amazing font of advice, knowledge, and information. We will definitely be hiring Justine for our next birth—I can’t imagine going through this experience without her. Thank you!
