I am extremely grateful to have had Kali as my doula . From our initial consultation her presence was calming and I immediately felt at ease. Throughout the entire pregnancy and now postpartum she has been an invaluable support system, kept me informed, and advocated for me as well as helping me advocate for myself. I wish I would have chosen her to be my doula a lot sooner, it would have saved me some of the early stress and anxiety about being a 38y/o Black woman pregnant for the first time. She worked well with my partner and I and respected our beliefs and requests. She was willing to and had the expertise to address any questions and concerns we had. I can whole heartedly say my overall positive pregnancy, labor & delivery and postpartum experience would not have been the same without Kali.
