It was such a pleasure working with Martha as my doula. I had deeply embedded fears about pregnancy and childbirth that she helped me work through during my pregnancy, and she was always available for support when I needed it. Our sessions were educational and so helpful. My hospital birth was beautiful (despite my fear of hospitals), and I truly believe that Martha's support is a huge reason that I had minimal tearing, minimal interventions, and overall a great birth experience. I would have felt very overwhelmed had she not been there. She helped guide me into different positions, kept me and my husband calm, and was just a beautiful resource to have there with me.
