Lisa is my doula for life. It was my first birth and I had a pretty long labor. It was because of her I acheived the birth I wanted and that got my nursing relationship with my daughter off to a good start. She helped my husband to shine when all I wanted was him and provided excellent education that sometimes your provider, even your midwife, may not have the time or even thought to explain. Lisa is also so very warm and calming, exactly what you need for a birth. She is also an excellent post partum doula. She calmed me down from many tears and helped me and my husband reconnect after a life changing event - having a baby! I will have Doula on my birth team every time.
