I never imagined my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experience could feel as empowering as it did - I attribute so much of that to Heather and Victoria's support! Each step of the way they offered guidance, insight, and brilliant probing questions to help me uncover my own wants and needs. I originally sought out their services because my first two deliveries I did not have a doula present and both resulted in emergency c-sections/ rather traumatic experiences. This time around I wanted to attempt a vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC) and knew they had a strong reputation in the VBAC world. This delivery didn't end up going as planned and yet I was so pleasantly surprised by how at-peace I felt with the outcome. Even though I ended up needing another c-section, Heather and Victoria helped equip me with the knowledge and resources I needed to have a stronger sense of agency & to use my time during pregnancy to develop trusting relationships with all my care providers.
