I'm a first time mom with a history of stage iv endometriosis. We knew with pregnancy we wanted someone who could support us every step of the way. Enter Suzanne! From our very first interview with her, I knew she was special and knew she would always have my back. Honestly we were sold from the very first interview and decided she was exactly what we needed for some added peace and the support of going through a pregnancy with endometriosis. It was not an easy pregnancy; my blood pressure kept misbehaving and I had continuous contractions from early on. Suzannne was always available for me to text with questions, concerns, or even just an ear to talk to. We never once felt like she was an outsider; she quickly became a pivotal part of our pregnancy journey. At 38 weeks, I started having prodromal labor. Suzanne came over several times to help me to get things progressing, but our baby has a mind of her own. At 41 weeks, I went into labor. Suzanne came over, even though it was past midnight, helped me through some positions for pain management and gave us the advice that it was time to go in. During labor at the hospital, Suzanne was by my side as much as my husband! Offering physical and emotional support, conversation, positioning, as well as encouragement during the rough parts. She continually helped us advocate for our wishes, and when I had a postpartum hemorrhage, she made sure my husband and I were informed. I'm now 4 weeks postpartum and Suzanne has continually checked in with us to make sure we're doing alright, sleeping well, and offering tips and advice on our fussy little girl. Her birth photos are INCREDIBLE and I would truly honestly pick Suzanne again for any future pregnancies!
