Christi was the first and only doula we met with when preparing for the birth of our first child. I immediately felt so comfortable with her and so did my husband! He said after just one prenatal meeting with Christi, he could feel his anxieties calming. They worked together so well during the labor and birth and he often tells me how grateful he was to have her there with us. She took great care of both of us and worked seamlessly with the nurses and doctors at the hospital.
She guided me on what questions to ask my OB at upcoming appointments, empowering me to make choices about my birth that I otherwise would have felt confused and anxious. During labor, Christi was quick to respond to my body language and keep me comfortable and progressing.
Without hesitation, I will be asking Christi to join us for the birth of our next baby...in a few years ;)
