My partner and I met Suzanne through a community page in Feb of 2020. I was due in April and the pandemic was in its earliest stages. It looked like family wasn't going to be able to cross state lines so we began looking for a doula to stay with me so my partner could stay with our oldest if need be.
She was available anytime I needed her, made us both feel so comfortable always. As restrictions changed, she would formulate new ways to teach us how to labor, stay connected to each other, and keep the stress at bay.
Our goal was a VBAC, and it didn't go as planned even a little bit. After an emergency csection, she single handedly saved our breastfeeding journey, and we are 21mos strong now. She helped my partner and I realize what we had been through, and stayed with us while we processed it. To say she is irreplaceable and priceless is an understatement.
