I ended up having a complicated pregnancy with kidney stones in my 3rd trimester which required surgery and a stent to remain in my kidney until after giving birth. I then had a traumatic birth with my baby’s shoulder getting stuck on my pelvic bone and I had a retained placenta. Due to all this my birth plan changed and Amy was right by my side to help me through it. I’m so thankful she was there to help me stay calm, focused, and as comfortable as possible.
