I came across Knetta’s website at a time when I really needed her the most. At 22.5 weeks I started having contractions and needed to be hospitalized to undergo the Cerclage surgical procedure. I was told I would need to be on bedrest for most of the remainder of my pregnancy and at the time was estranged from my Mother and sons father. I was terrified to go into labor and delivery alone and heard about doula services from a few other mom friends. Our initial over the phone consultation made me feel so comfortable and even with my limited finances she was willing to take me on as a client which I more than greatly appreciated. I love how often she kept in touch with me and how accommodating she was when it came to meeting up in person and scheduling phonecalls/Facetimes . She was constantly asking questions and truly got to know me as a person and what I wanted for a birth plan and i was able to fully trust her knowledge and wisdom. She offered plenty of tips and helped me find plenty of stretches, and other methods to help prepare for labor. When the day came she provided affirmation cards and the best essential oils and massages and Im happy to say my 7lb 6oz baby boy and I are were so happy to have her be apart of such a special life changing experience. Knetta is patient, kind, caring and on top of her game at all times and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is expecting!! I consider her family at this point the bond we created during this time will stick with us for a lifetime??
