We hired Suzanne as our doula and photographer for the birth of our second child, and we had an amazing experience with her! We met her first in person for our prenatal appointment and maternity photos. She is very easy to talk to and helped guide our thoughts about how we hoped the labor and birth process would go, and took beautiful maternity pictures of us with our son. She kept up with us through texts and was easy to reach when I went into labor early at 37 weeks. It ended up being a long process, with about 48 hours of prodromal labor before we were admitted into the labor ward. She was with us every step, from our home to the hospital. She kept me moving and trying new things to make progress and talked us through options when I was completely worn out and we needed to change plans. Suzanne took more photos as our daughter arrived, capturing that wonderful moment for us. Two weeks later, we had a final visit in our home to debrief about the experience and to take family photos. It was really helpful to talk through how the birth had gone since so much was different than we expected! Suzanne was worth every penny and we would highly recommend working with her!
