It is a hard decision choosing someone that will be with you during the most vulnerable moments of your life, but Janine made that decision easy. I got to know her during prenatal yoga where she not only taught the practice but made you feel comfortable, heard, and supported during your pregnancy journey. That is when I knew I wanted her as my doula. She met with us multiple times to go over delivery, walk through things we would not have thought of because it was our first time, and gave us tools necessary to get through labor. The night of labor she stayed in contact letting us know when we should be going to the hospital. And during delivery she was a huge support and guiding presence. Bonus - she took pictures for us that are invaluable!
