Testimonial for Carli Mellentine
From the very beginning, Carli was super responsive and on it. I didn't have too many questions for her during pregnancy, but she would check in and she always made sure I knew she was available to me. When I finally went into labor and texted her in the wee hours of the morning, she responded right away and when we went to the hospital, she met us there soon after. From our prenatal meetings, I felt very comfortable with Carli and could tell that she is a very calm and competent person (just the kind of women you want with you while in labor) and she lived up to my expectations. She helped my husband and I with pain management strategies to get me through some difficult back labor (since I didn't want an epidural or any pain medication) and was very hands-on in helping me physically. Her affirmations that I was doing well and could get through it were key at a few points when I wanted to give up. Finally, she helped me figure out different positions to move labor along and help me to fully efface so that I could be ready to push. All in all, even though my birth experience was quite difficult and painful, it was ultimately wholly positive in large part because of Carli's help!
