She provided many useful resources to help us with our birth planning, and she always listened carefully to our preferences and history to best fit our needs. She really got to know both myself and my partner and became one of our most trusted thought partners when it came to our birth. Because she could take more time and care than healthcare providers, we really valued her insight and guidance into things we should be thinking about.
I ended up needing a c-section, and Heather was very flexible and supportive throughout this change in circumstance. She checked in on us often and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We also enjoyed our postpartum visit with her to talk about the birth and how the early days of parenthood were going. I hope to use Heather's services again for future births!
