Cristina was an invaluable resource to my husband and me as we welcomed our first child. Her services were set up to provide us with three prenatal educational visits, support throughout our entire labor, and two postpartum visits. She also checked in on us frequently via text and was always there to answer any question we had. This design allowed us to build a bond with her while she was providing education and answering our questions. Having never been through the birthing process, she set our minds at ease with her calm and reassuring demeanor. We had very specific birth preferences, advocating for me as a fat woman in particular, and she was supportive and on our side from the beginning. She had a beautiful way of helping us reframe our thoughts. When some unexpected interventions were presented during labor, I felt defeated, and she asked me if there was anything else I had wanted to do that I hadn't.
