Sarah is an incredible doula and photographer! Not only is she extremely experienced and knowledgeable about all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum, she has a natural calming presence that was invaluable to me and my husband as first time parents.
I was induced over 3 days for the birth of our son, which eventually resulted in a C-section. Sarah supported us every step of the way via phone/text and in person. She answered all our questions, eased our fears, made sure we rested when we could, and ensured we understood what was happening and what our options were at any given moment.
During my labor it felt like she was right by my side the whole time, but somehow she still managed to capture amazing images throughout. When it was time to head to the OR, Sarah did a great job preparing my husband (who hates blood and guts!) for what to expect. They only allowed 1 person into the OR and he was so nervous, but she knew I wanted him there and gave him the pep talk he needed to be a great support for me.
If you are considering hiring a doula, look no further! Sarah is the best of the best.
