Our experience with Barbie was overwhelmingly positive. I was neither comfortable nor confident during my pregnancy and was increasingly nervous approaching birth - Barbie helped to set my mind at ease by guiding my husband and I through what we could expect and discussing our options thoroughly. I felt empowered and prepared thanks to her help and was able to better articulate my needs during labor, even as things diverged from my birth plan. She also provided support and company for my partner and helped to distract us both during our very long night of laboring. Barbie has continued to stay in touch since the birth and we feel that ours is a relationship that will continue as we share the joy of our daughter's life with her.
