My experience with Lauren was incredible! My husband and I didn't know about postnatal doula care, but as soon as we learned about it, we were so interested. We had the desire to invest in some doula support - either for the birth or after, and since I was delivering at a Birth Center with very hands-on midwives, we opted to try the postnatal support.
We are so glad we did! It can feel a bit daunting to come home with a first-time newborn, and having the support to not only talk through things and get advice on everything from healing to newborn basics was amazing. The meal prep and help around the house was also incredibly valuable. We also had some overnights included in the package we chose, and those were a life-saver! We actually got solid sleep those nights. We will definitely invest in a postnatal doula if we have more kids.
Lauren is so wonderful and easy to instantly like. She's easy-going, experienced, professional, reliable, and runs a wonderful business supporting new and established families. We felt totally safe and comfortable with her during such a fresh and vulnerable time, and she made our transition so much better.
