Kelly was amazing to come alongside me during my birth experience. As a first time mom who wanted to have my baby naturally at home, I faced a long intense labor of over 44 hours. Kelly felt like family in my home and never made me feel like a burden. She stayed by my side all that time, and I benefited greatly from the squeezes and maneuvers she knew that could both help my baby move naturally into postion and ease my pain. Her expertise was apparent and she was definitely my advocate. There is very little privacy in labor (as we all know), and I felt completely comfortable with Kelly. She was sure to direct my husband to be sure that he was taking care of himself, as well, while she stayed by my side. At almost every contraction my thought was "where is Kelly?" Because when my eyes locked on her I knew we'd get through it together. When my labor was dragging on and the thought that I may need to transport to the hospital in order to get an epidural and rest was brought up, Kelly believed in me and my thought that I could finish naturally. She took charge and directed the room, prayed with me, and eventually coached (and literally cheered) my son into the world. Her placenta encapsulation and tincture, as well as other great products that I purchased were professionally done and very beneficial. I don't want to have another baby without her!
