My partner and I are so happy we decided to include Rosa in our birth plan and experience. When we interviewed her, we knew she was a great match for us based on her warm and motherly personality, and her belief that birthing persons should be empowered in however they envision their birth process to be. She also endorses and supports evidence based practice along with more holistic approaches to labour. Rosa was of great support to not just me during my labour, but also to my partner in helping him to feel like he was supporting me. I ended up getting an epidural and Rosa was extremely supportive of my decision and was able to guide me through pushing despite not having as strong of feedback from the contractions due to the epidural. She also visited us once prenatally and once postpartum at our home. Both my partner and I felt extremely supported by Rosa and would highly reccomend hiring her as part of your birth experience!
