So happy to have found Sam on my journey to becoming a mom! I originally looked into a doula due to my husband being in the military, with a good chance that he would not be there for the birth of our baby boy. Also, as a first time mom, I was nervous as to what to expect. Sam provided so much information, knowledge, and resources on everything from: things to do to prepare for labor, creating a birth plan, teaching me pain management techniques, and so much more prior to giving birth! Once in labor, I couldn’t imagine giving birth without Sam’s support. Not only did she recommend different positions based on how my baby was oriented, she also ensured I was comfortable and hydrated the entire time. On top of her support she also documented my birthing process and our first moments with our baby boy. I’m so thankful for those photographs and my decision to hire Sam!
