Meredith was a Godsend. She was referred to us by a friend that adored her, and from the initial meeting, I knew she was a perfect match for us to welcome our first born into the world. Meredith was always available via text whenever I had questions as I went along in my pregnancy. She helped calm some anxieties, reminded me many of my issues were normal, and when the labor pains came, she was there every step of the way. Due to COVID, she was not able to help us labor at home prior to heading to the hospital, but she was available every time I needed her during my 3 days (yep you read that right!!) of prodromal labor, walking us through Miles circuits and cheering me on. I finally headed to the hospital as contractions became more normal, and she was there within a few hours (again due to COVID regulations). Although our birth story was not how we pictured it would go, she was there every step of the way getting me into different positions, hold my hair when I felt awful, playing worship music, and praying over me. She was a steady rock when we had to make hard decisions during labor, and I wouldn't have wanted anyone but my husband and her by my side!
