After having a traumatic first birth, I knew I wanted the support of a doula for my second. From the minute I met Sarah, I felt so comfortable with her and I knew I wanted her to be my doula.
Sarah is absolutely amazing. She is so calming and confident in everything she does. Sarah helped me during every stage of pregnancy. I had questions throughout my pregnancy that her and her doula team would quickly respond to with evidenced based information to help me make an informed decision. By doing this, I was able to delay induction for a natural start to birth. In this way, she helped me to support my birth plan and wishes. She was by my side during every contraction and helped me and my partner by applying counter pressure. This allowed my husband to take breaks and feel better in what he was doing to help me.
Not only does she provide pregnancy and delivery care, she also captures the birth with beautiful pictures, and gives postpartum care. I can't say enough about the pictures she captured so we can always look back at them to reflect on the memories. In addition, the team compounds placenta capsules and tinctures to help with postpartum effects.
The support and care Sarah shares is priceless. I feel like I now have a lifelong friend and adviser on everything pregnancy. I would recommend Sarah to everyone!
