My husband and I are so glad we decided to add a doula to our birth team. Jill and Judy were open and communicative every step of the way and because this was our first baby, we didn't know what to expect and they were able to answer all our questions and more. They are both so knowledgeable and experienced and their calm and light hearted demeanour was everything we needed to remain grounded throughout my pregnancy. When I went into labour, Jill was the one at my birth and she was exactly what I needed every step of the way. During my early labour, she was able to suggest many different ways to cope with the pain and to help move the baby along. In the delivery room, Jill took charge and was able to recommend various positions when complications arose. Though she was so present throughout the whole birth, she was also in the background at all the right times to allow my husband and I to have intimate moments. I can go on and on about all the great points of having Jill there with us during my labour and delivery, but you'll never experience it until you get to work with her. We will definitely be reaching out to Jill and Judy to have them there with us for our future babies!
