My doula was out of town when my water broke early so Heather was my back up so we didn't get to meet until I was in labor! But her easygoing personality and helpfulness was extremely comforting. She was with me through nearly 3 hours of labor and helped me get through contractions when the epidural stopped helping the pain. She kept in contact with my family and made sure I felt comfortable with the decision to have a c section when my doctor told me baby wasn't coming down anymore and made sure she got my placenta for encapsulation after I delivered. She was extremely easy to talk to and I'm so happy she was able to be there for me when I needed her!
