After my first pregnancy in 2015 I was determined to be more involved and have more of a voice this time around. I'm a strong woman with a strong opinion but during my first pregnancy I let the doctors dictate all the details without knowing I actually had a say in the matter. I was fearful, confused and conflicted as I had no idea what I was doing and just followed along as a spectator in my own child's birth.
I vowed to have my voice heard if I was blessed with pregnancy again.
November 2020 I found out I was pregnant again. DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC! Of course my thoughts were, "great, what a confusing time to be in and out of doctors appointments and the hospital."
