When I first met Lisa I knew immediately that she was the doula for me. She is so sweet and has knack for making you feel instantly at ease. She's an expert on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery & newborn care and has endless resources to share (especially related to natural birth!). In addition to helping me prepare to have my first child, Lisa was a life saver during my 34+ hour labor. She coached me through the contractions, & gave me the encouragement I needed when I was starting to really doubt myself. She walked me through the various options whenever I needed to make a decision and when things didn't go as planned, she helped me to stay positive and reassured me that I was doing the right thing. I also really appreciated how she made sure my husband felt included by allowing him to assist her throughout the process. To put it simply, Lisa made the experience of bringing my daughter into the world less stressful and scary by helping me to feel comfortable and in control of the situation. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is considering a birth doula!
