Jaime was helpful from the get-go. She shared a bunch of helpful resources that guided me through things like questions I should ask my provider, creating a birth vision, and what to expect postpartum. She also gave us a solid recommendation for a birth class which both me and my partner loved (even virtually!). When we found out we needed to proceed with an emergency c-section, Jaime was with us each step of the way. Within the day, we had a list of questions to ask my doctor before the surgery and a plan for the day of. She waited for us while I was in recovery and sat with me while my partner tended to our baby who had a short stint in the NICU. Her precense kept me calm in an incredibly stressful situation. Once we were home, she helped us get situated like light grocery shopping, helped us sterilize our bottles & pump parts, and assisted me with getting the baby into a sling/carrier. Jaime's knowledge got us through a time when we felt we knew nothing and her calm, focused demeanor was reassuring that we were in good hands. TLDR; work with Jaime. She's the advocate you need!
