Melissa is awesome. Truly!
Melissa helped bring my first kiddo earth side- he was born via ceserean after a long induction. That birth didn't go as planned but I trusted her and my provider so felt as "okay" with it as I could.
When I got pregnant again I knew I wanted to go for a VBAC but gosh did it all feel overwhelming. Melissa kept it real with me from the get-go but was also really assuring and affirming. It was the perfect balance between the two- held the space but made sure I worked through what I needed to!
And if you're wondering- I got my VBAC! I'm so thankful to have had such a different experience the second time around.
Melissa is also amazing in that initial post partum period. She doesn't disappear after baby arrives! So many "is this normal?" "OMG the cluster feeding" type texts. And with both my kiddos she got us in touch with the right people for more support as needed (IBCLC's, pediatric dentist, cranial sacral therapy, etc)
She's a gem!
