Sandra was the most perfect doula for us. Throughout the uncertainties of the pandemic, she found ways to educate us and calm our myriad anxieties about being first time parents. She taught us how to advocate for ourselves during the birth experience, gave us so many tips for comfort during labor, and was on call for virtual support when the hospital rules weren’t going to allow doulas to attend births in person. In the end, the regulations lifted right before my due date and Sandra was able to be there in person in the end! She brought such a calming presence. After our daughter came, her postpartum checkups really allowed my husband and me to talk through settling into our new roles. It was all enormously helpful. Sandra, I can’t recommend you enough!
