I hired Lizzy late into my pregnancy, around 35 weeks, after having poor experiences with previous medical providers. She was amazing right from the start, was sensitive to my experiences, and was a wealth of information. I am a first time parent so I asked a LOT of questions and she always provided me with an abundance of resources. Even postpartum Lizzy made herself available and answered numerous questions and concerns.
My labor was about 44 hours and she was a crucial part of my support team. She came over to my home and helped me through my contractions as they progressed while my partner got some rest. Once we arrived at the birthing center she made sure my partner and I had everything we needed, food, water, etc. My delivery was a marathon and she had a calming yet encouraging presence. I was completely and utterly exhausted towards the end but Lizzy and the rest of my team gave me the strength I needed to power through. After guiding us through 24 hours of my 44 hour labor, Lizzy’s endurance allowed her to be there when our son had finally come earth-side!
Lizzy went above and beyond during my pregnancy, during my delivery, and postpartum. My partner and I were so grateful to have found her and we’re so glad that she was able to be a part of such a special time in our lives.
