First off get a dang doula. Second hire Christine Potter for your doula! After the first minute of our first conversation I knew she was the doula I wanted on my birth team! Her training and the way she talked about birth was exactly what I was looking for in a doula! When I went over my due date she was there cheering me on and coming to my house to help me get babe into position! When my unmediated, stay at home as long as possible suddenly changed to a hospital induction she was right by my side encouraging me! And when the on all ob wasn't making the cut she helped me advocate for myself to get my ob there and achieve my goal of a successful VBAC! I not only had an amazing doula with Christine but I also gained a lifelong friend! I wish I would of had her as my doula for my first 3 births. My husband agrees that having Christine as our doula was the best decision and she saved us from a possible unnecessary c section. Christine is a freakin gem and I would recommend her highly!
